No. A move changes where the register is kept, not who holds what. To let a shareholder read it, add their address under Visible to on their row.

What about personnummer?

The register must state them, so they move in full. A reader sees only the birth year; an admin can reveal a number.

Can we move out again?

Yes, at any time: Export gives the register, the cap table, the history and the holders as Excel, PDF or CSV, with the whole record in it.

In short

A share register is more than a list of today's owners. It is every entry since the company was formed, and what has been removed from it must be kept for at least ten years (ABL 5 kap. 3 §). A move that brings only today's list leaves the rest behind.

The move is checked, not trusted. Your own AI app reads the old register; aktiebok.io replays it and compares the result share number by share number.

There are two ways in.

With its history. Every event of the old register is entered again, oldest first: the formation, each issue, each sale. aktiebok.io then holds the whole record.
As it stands. Every block of shares with its holder and the day the holder was entered, on one day. The register starts there, and the old one must be kept, since aktiebok.io holds nothing before that day.

The law says the same of any company that goes from a paper register to one kept by computer: the old register is kept for at least ten years after all the shares were entered in the new one (5 kap. 3 §).

What to have in hand

The current register: Every share by number: the holder, the class and the day the holder was entered. As a file, a printout or a scan.
The history: The old register's list of events or transactions, when it has one. For a paper register, the sheets themselves show it: each holder with a date.
Registreringsbevis: The share capital and when it was registered. The capital is taken from here, never from the number of shares times a rounded quota value.
Bolagsordning: The share classes and the förbehåll. An old register's own notes of them are sometimes wrong.
The holders' details: The id number and postal address of each shareholder, which the register must state.

A small register goes in by hand

A company with a handful of entries needs no AI. Add entry, then Formation for the first holders, and one entry for each thing that has happened since, each with the day it happened. The first of them is described in Setting up the share register of a new company.

An example · A shelf company

One paper sheet: 500 shares, numbers 1 to 500. First the supplier of the company, then the buyer two weeks later. A later change of the bolagsordning added hembud.

The formation: 500 shares to the supplier, on the day the company was formed.
A transfer of all 500 to the buyer, on the day on the sheet. The sheet states no price, so none is entered.
The förbehåll, from the day the new bolagsordning was registered.
Three entries. The share capital is the figure on the registreringsbevis.

Afterwards

Check it once more against something the move was not built from. The old service's own summary of holders, or the röstlängd of the last general meeting: the holdings should be the same, line for line.

Keep the old register. aktiebok.io keeps the register, not the files it was moved from. A paper register is kept in its original form, and an old service's full export is kept with the company's papers.

If it turned out wrong, a new move replaces it, as long as nothing has been entered on top. A wrong date, basis or price is corrected on the entry at any time.
